A Birthday to remember........

This weekend we celebrated my wifes 36th,(God Damn she is getting old) birthday. Unlike past birthdays in which we get up, open presents, and eat a cake that took way too long to make for all the more it lasts, myeslf & my 2 sons decided to perform a silly little skit for my wife. We dubbed her Mrs Medi, since through this weight loss program she has lost like a zillion pounds & looks so friggin hot that Angelina Jolie would worry if Brad was seen talking with her. We decorated the living room to resemble a red carpet entrance to an awards show(minus the blatant adds for Bicardi, or whatever crap hollywood is slinging that week), and had my oldest son interview The Mrs in grand fashion. Even asking her to tell us who she was wearing, and to spin around & show off said Levi Jeans for the camera. My youngest acted at the paparazzi, and snapped countless pics, and at the end he dropped the camera to play the part of devoted fan asking for an autograph. It was all rather silly, but something I hope My wife will never soon forgets. We opened presents, and had cake & ice cream, followed by a day of leisure. The Mrs seemed to really enjoy & appreciate the whole affair, which is all I had hoped for upon planning & preparing for the "production." Thank God I have a whole year to plan for our next performance, and hope that My wife came away from the whole expereince realizing how much we love her! I loved planning the days performances, and putting together the "props." It gave  me a chance to connect with my creative & constructive side, as well as allow my oldest son a chance to try out a little priming & painting himself. A win, win, win all the way around.
